How can I support my volunteers who can't get online easily?

Anyone can earn and spend Tempo Time Credits, as long as they have a Tempo ID. 

Your volunteers will not need access to a phone, device, or even the internet in order to use Tempo Time Credits, as long as they have their Tempo ID.

A Tempo ID can be generated in one of two ways:

• You can send volunteers an invite link, which will allow them to create an online account using their email address.

• Or, if they don’t have an email address, you can add them to your group on their behalf.

1. Log in to your account at tempotimecredits.org
   
   
2. Scroll down the dashboard slightly to click Invite a new volunteer. 
   
   
3. Here you will see the invite link which you can send to members, who can then sign themselves up using their email address. 
   
   If your volunteer has an email address, even if they don’t use it, it is best they follow this link to set up their account, as it will enable them to access the benefits of their account in the future should they wish.
   
   
4. If your volunteer does not have an email address, however, then you can set them up yourself.
   
   
5. Fill in the volunteer's details, and click Register Volunteer. You will see that their Tempo ID has been created. This means this volunteer can now earn and use Tempo Time Credits just like any other volunteer. 
   
   
6. Write this ID on a Tempo ID Card and give it to your volunteer. If you run out of cards, just get in touch and we can always send you some more.
   
   The volunteer will simply need to show this ID card to a venue when they wish to use their Tempo Time Credits, and the venue will deduct the Time Credits from their account.
   
   Volunteers who do not have an online account can always call us to get support or check their balance.
   
   You can give these cards out to volunteers with an account as well, so they can always check their ID when they can’t get online.
